Fortaleza

The SARAH Fortaleza Neurorehabilitation Center, situated in the Passaré neighborhood was inaugurated in September, 2001.

This facility is dedicated to the neurorehabilitation of adults and children with spinal cord or brain injury and neurological disorders that carry motor and sensorial consequences, as well as clinical treatment of adults with back pain.

The rehabilitation process includes various activities, some of them intergenerational, comprising educational approaches, and psychopedagogical and academic support.

The Neurorehabilitation Center makes optimal use of its wide open spaces and gardens, promoting outside activities such as social gatherings that encourage leisure, culture and art; physical fitness; gait and wheelchair skills.

The SARAH Fortaleza Neurorehabilitation Center offers the Network’s Traffic Accident Prevention and Education Program, an educational lecture and interactive series for middle and high schools students.
